Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • sea salt

Instructions

Put the muffin cases into the muffin tray
  1. Melt half the chocolate in the microwave or using the bain-marie method
  2. Take a spoon of melted chocolate and pop it into each muffin case.
  3. Move the muffin case around until the chocolate forms an even layer on the bottom - this is the base of your peanut butter cup
  4. Pop these into the fridge or freezer for 10 minutes to set.
  5. Do your kitchen challenge.
  6. When you're done with your kitchen challenge, make the peanut butter filling.
  7. Melt the coconut oil and mix it with the peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  8. Take the muffin tray out of the fridge and pop a spoon of the peanut butter mixture into each muffin case. Bang the whole tray on the table a couple of times and that should even out the peanut butter in each cup.
  9. Back into the fridge with them and melt the other half of your chocolate.
