Chocolate APPLE Cake

Yes - apples are the magic ingredient in this very simple, indulgent, mousse like cake. This is a great way of using up leftover apples that are hanging around in the bottom of the fruit bowl!
Chocolate APPLE Cake
Ingredients
- about 800g sweet apples
- about 800g dark chocolate (yes - it’s a lot of chocolate but go pretty dark as the sweetness from the apples will counteract the bitter chocolate)
Instructions
- It’s so simple - basically peel, chop and cook your apples until soft but not mushy.
- Melt your dark chocolate.
- Blend the lot together and pop into a lined cake tin to set overnight.
- The kids can help peel and chop the apples. They can help put everything into the blender. And then help with prepping the cake tin and pouring the mixture in.
