Chicken Nuggets
These easy chicken nuggets are a favourite with Olly, Molly and Chuck! They love to make them whenever they can.
Equipment: Blender, chopping board, knife, baking tray, 3 flat bowls (I use empty takeaway containers for this), and a fork
CHICKEN NUGGETS
Ingredients
- 3/4 skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices wholemeal bread
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- garlic powder
Instructions
Method:
- Heat oven to 180 degrees
- Blitz bread in your blender to make breadcrumbs
- Place on baking tray and toast for about 7-10 minutes, turning once
- Whisk eggs in bowl
- Pour flour into second bowl and mix in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Place toasted breadcrumbs in third bowl
- Chop chicken into strips
- Dip each strip first into the seasoned flour, then egg and finally breadcrumbs
- Place directly on baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once
