Waterford Tuna Blaa

Tuna is a great filling for sandwiches. It has got lots of protein which helps your muscles grow and keeps your tummy full.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp frozen sweetcorn
  • 1 x 145g tin tuna (sustainably caught)
  • 1 -2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 Waterford blaas (soft white bread rolls) or wholemeal bread/ wraps lettuce

Instructions

How to make it:
  1. Put the sweetcorn into a bowl with a tablespoon of water and microwave it on medium for 3-4 minutes. Allow it to cool
  2. Open the tin of tuna and drain off the liquid, using the lid to hold the fish in place.
  3. Plop the tuna into a bowl and add the sweetcorn and mayonnaise. Mix really well.
  4. Cut each blaa in two and butter it if you like. Spread some of the tuna mixture onto one half.
  5. Add some lettuce. Pop the top of the blaa on and cut in two.
  6. Pack it into your lunchbox along with some fruit and veggies for a great lunch!
