Viral Dubai Chocolat

You have to try the viral sensation - Dubai Chocolate! It is actually really easy to make and kids will love making this alongside you.

We used dark chocolate to make our version of the famous Dubai Chocolate bar. A pinch of sea salt at the end helps to balance out all that sweetness.

This delicious chocolate is trending for all the right reasons - it is rich, decadent, crunchy and delicious

Ingredients

  • 50g butter
  • 300 g dark 70% chocolate
  • 150g katafi dough
  • 340g pistachio paste
  • 20g tahini
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Melt 200g chocolate
  2. when melted, use to coat the bottom and sides of 2 large chocolate bar moulds
  3. allow set
  4. melt the butter in a large pan, separate the katafi strands and cook off until crispy - keep an eye on this and don't let it burn!
  5. pop the katafi into a large bowl, add the pistachio paste and the tahini. Mix well
  6. divide the mixture between to two chocolate bars, ensuring it's spread evenly all over the bottom layer of chocolate
  7. melt the remaining chocolate
  8. divide between the two bars and ensure all the mixture is covered
  9. allow set - and enjoy!
